In 1968, Lotte Aluminum produced Korea's first aluminum foil and now generates the greatest output of it of any company in Korea. For thirty years the company has met the demand for superior processability, and protective function in industrial-purposed and general-purposed aluminum foil, and in soft packaging materials.
Backed by its unique know-how, the company began making cans for drinks, specifically Korea's first steel cans for beer, and PET bottles for juices and carbonated drinks in 1944.
